Just received my tripod desk a few days ago and already a big fan! It's works great with my NYC apartment where I have limited space for a full desk. It's light and compact and can be put away when not in use. It's also a good option for anyone looking for something portable. Both the tripod and desk portion fit into my bag and I can easily carry it with me.

I'm an architect and purchased this desk to use onsite. Works well but I didn't see the pro version at the time and maybe should have purchased that since I need something a little bigger. However, this is portable and easy to setup. Ideal if you're using it with just a laptop.

I've been using this for a couple of months and very happy with it so far. It's light, compact and easy to use and I love the look of the black top on the black tripod. You can set it up just about anywhere and store it away when you don't need it. Definitely recommend if you're working from home and looking to stand more during the work day.

Wrong color desk arrived. I ordered black but instead received walnut. This is frustrating because my order confirmation shows I selected black yet a walnut was delivered.

What is the size of the table surface?
The desktop is 16 in (40cm) x 12 in (30 cm). It can support a 17 in laptop.
What is the maximum and minimum height of the desk?
The maximum height is 57 in (145 cm) and the minimum height is 21 in (53 cm).
For context, someone who is 6 ft. tall, would use it as a standing desk at 45 in (114 cm).
Is the desk tilt adjustable?
Yes, the desk is tilt adjustable. The desktop can be flat, vertical or any angle in between.
What is the weight of the desk?
The desk (tripod and desktop) weigh 5 pounds (2 kg).
How much weight can the desk support?
The desk can support up to 22 pounds (10 kilos).
Do I need any tools to assemble the desk?
No tools are needed. The desk only takes 1-2 minutes to assemble and can be done by hand.
What material is the desktop and tripod made from?
The desktop is made from Baltic Birch wood and the tripod is made from aircraft grade aluminum.
Can the desk be transported easily? Will it fit inside my luggage?
Yes, the desk is easy to carry and will fit into any large backpack or tote bag.
Will my items slide off when the desk is tilted?
No, this will not happen. There are 2 brackets at the bottom of the desk which act as a lip for your laptop. See the second picture on the product page for a close up of what that looks like. You can also attach up to 2 more brackets if needed. The desktop comes with pre-drilled holes and this allows the brackets to be spread across the entire edge of the desk.
Can I fit my walking pad underneath the desk?
Yes, many of our customers use the desk with a walking pad. The maximum distance between the legs is 28 in (71 cm), so most walking pads can go underneath.
How much is the distance between each of the tripod legs?
The distance between the legs depends on the height of the tripod. The maximum distance is 28 in (71 cm) when the height of the desk is 57 inches (145 cm). The minimum distance is 12 in (60 cm) when the height of the desk is 21 in (53 cm)
Can the wheels lock in place? Do they have brakes?
Yes, the wheels can be easily locked in place. It only takes a few seconds to do so.
Can the tripod be used with a camera?
Yes, the tripod can be used with a camera. No additional parts needed. Simply remove the desktop and use it with a camera instead.
Can the desk be used as an easel?
Yes, we have many customers who use the desk as an easel. The desk can be flat, vertical or any angle in between. So it works great as an easel.
